Dr. Angela Morgan is currently a Professor of Music and the Chairman of the Music Department at 麻豆国产AV where she serves as professor of violin. She is also the Assistant Concertmaster of the 麻豆国产AV Symphony Orchestra and a member of Trio 麻豆国产AV.

Dr. Morgan was elected to the Board of Directors for the National Association of Music as Chair of Region 7, and held that post until 2011. From 1995-2006, she served as the director of the 麻豆国产AV State University Orchestra. Dr. Morgan is a member of the American String Teacher鈥檚 Association with the National School Orchestra Association and the Georgia Music Educator鈥檚 Association.

From 1989-95, Dr. Morgan was on the faculty of McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she taught violin and viola, directed the university orchestra, and taught courses in music history and literature, string methods, and music theory. Dr. Morgan was also actively involved in state organizations, serving as the Louisiana State President of the American String Teacher鈥檚 Association (1994-95) and as Orchestra Division Chairman for the Louisiana Music Educator鈥檚 Association (1993-95).

Dr. Morgan holds the Master鈥檚 and Doctoral degrees in violin performance from Florida State University, where she studied with Eliot Chapo. Her undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Tennessee under the tutelage of Peter Horodysky.
