I have taught Introduction to Environmental Health, Introduction to Global Health, Environmental Health in Low- and Middle- Income Countries, Prevention and Control of Diseases, Communicable Diseases, Health Disparities, and Essentials of Epidemiology.
Will be teaching Chronic Disease Epidemiology in Spring 2026.

Research Interests

My research interests are in applying epidemiological methods to chronic disease prevention and management. I focus primarily on improving outcomes for people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), particularly underserved populations. Secondary interests include sedentary behavior and cancer prevention research.
